It is a universal truth that we are all a part of something bigger than ourselves – the planet in which we reside. We are a part of this environment and so have the responsibility of protecting it to a great deal. I was contemplating of ways to beautify the surroundings around my house. During times when everyone is thinking “green”, one of the easiest ways to help the environment is in one’s own yard. My contribution towards the preservation of the environment included adding to and changing the existing landscape in my backyard that can have a positive impact on the planet.
